What you eat says a lot about bigotry

Fools rule over the stupid. Tomorrow will decide not just how many fools but just how stupid the people have become.

Stupid people are easily fooled into believing propaganda. I'll give an example: goat and lamb. Goat and lamb are consumed by more people world wide than cow. Americans are afraid of goat and lamb. Really. Few have tasted it, few have seen it and few have cooked it but when asked the overwhelming answer is - "It stinks", as in it smells.

The fact that it doesn't stink it irrelevant. They have been told that it stinks therefore it stinks. Period.

So who told them this? That is where this gets interesting. Goat is the main protein source in Africa. Not all that popular in the British Isles and Norther Europe. Throughout Southern Europe and the Mediterranean goat and lamb are very popular, as it is in Asia, the Middle East and throughout what once was known as Persia and the Ottoman Empire. There is a pattern here. Skin pigmentation.

When people from these regions first came to the United States they were poor refugees and as such where housed in ghettos. Ghettos stink.
As recently as my childhood garlic was still considered a vile smelling ingredient used mostly in abundance by the Italians and Portuguese. Both of these groups were still considered to be not white but dark skinned. Italians are now thought of as white. Portuguese not thought of as anything more than dockworkers and thieves who eat garlic and stink.

As a note the Irish were considered not white and vile. Jews were not considered to be white until recently, oddly all other people with the same skin pigmentation from the same area are still not white. You can draw a direct line connecting the financial rise from ghetto to middle class and above that correlates with Jews being bestowed with whiteness in the eyes of many. In other words once out of the ghetto they no longer stink.

 People from Mexico and south are not white. They eat food that is not white food. Many have been forced to live in ghettos therefore they stink as well.

All of these people listed above did not eat beef as a primary source of protein. Goat and lamb. They ate goat and lamb, they lived in ghettos, ghettos stink therefore the food they eat stinks as well.

Enter the beef producers and advertising. Poor people who eat food that stinks do not eat beef therefore beef is what white America must "have for dinner" or you too will stink.

Propaganda is subliminal. It always feeds of the fear of others. The others always stink. They are always a threat to your job, way of life and they eat strange food.

What does this have to do with the midterms? Everything. Beef production is killing the land air and water. Small scale family farms are not a threat, it's the big corporate farms that are the threat. If you don't know by now the big Ag corporations are Multinational not good ol' American.  Goat and lamb are very eco friendly. They are easy to raise on small scale family farms. The GOP supports big Ag, not small scale family farms. 80% of all money from farm subsides are granted to the Multinational Agriculture Corporations. They are increasingly mechanized. They don't need workers from south of the border. When a small family farm goes under who do you think buys up the land?

Vote. Vote Blue and save a farmer. Save a farmer and eat for life.

The Great Ever Changing Deep State

Deep State, that illusive changeling of a theory. What is it? Who is it?

A few short years ago the Deep State was purportedly composed of an Illuminati like conspiratorial body of rich and powerful men and corporations who secretly ran the government. I use purportedly because today the supposed Deep State has morphed into a Democrat run anti-conservative liberal conspiracy protected by the DOJ. Particularly the FBI, a traditionally conservative body infiltrated by liberals (probably via some mind control substance administered through contact with the Obama's) and certain Federal judges. All of whom are gunning to overturn the gerrymandered electoral districts thoughtfully put in place by the GOP and undermine the integrity of the Trump administration.

I feel it necessary to point out a fact that only seems to be a factual reality in the conservative mind.

Fact: Sexual harassment is only real and needs to be investigated when perpetrated by liberal leaning men. Conservative men however are incapable of this sexist act. The same is true for spousal abuse, racial bigotry and homophobia. I don't have the handbook of "Things Conservatives Never Are Guilty Of" handy but I think killing kitty-cats and eating babies are also on the list of impossible thing conservatives can be guilty of. Cheating on a spouse, drug and alcohol addiction, sexual release via a paid assistant (prostitute), kiddie porn downloading, ignoring the Constitution and proclaiming Freedom of Religion while forcing their personal religious beliefs on the world and grabbing pussy are also exempted.

What is not exempted is being brownish, female, a brownish female, a gay brownish female and honest. Honesty is the most unforgivable of unforgivable's in the conservative hand book. On second thought, honest and brownish, honest and ..... you get the idea.

The Deep State.

Over the last weeks I have heard through the walls the voice of a wise sage (I think it might be the voice of God) and I have learned all about the Deep State in between his rants on Dossier!, Dossier!, Dossier!. (God sounds a lot like Sean Hannity. God is very melodramatic and highly conspiracy minded. God is also very rude and constantly interrupts his guests) So I am now an expert on the Deep State. It is the LIBERALS. You see this explains all the gerrymandering. These Deep State liberal controllers allowed the gerrymandering to make you think it was the conservative GOP. Ha! I say! Ha! Pretty crafty them Liberals don't you think?  

Now that we know the truth about the Deep State let us look into this Dossier!. Dossier!, Dossier!. It was the Clintons. Just forget all about that Conservative deep pocket donor who funds the Washington Free Beacon who dug up dirt on then "hat-in-the-ring" outsider Trump and his insistence that Fusion GPS stop their dirt digging after Trump cinched the nomination. None of that matters in this universe. What matters is after the info collecting had started and was no longer needed to derail Trump from garnering the nomination, because it couldn't, the investigative co. Fusion GPS shopped their info to the other side's camp. (free market principles!) shhh! 

But the facts are of no importance. All that matters is camp Clinton did pay Fusion after the Washington Free Beacon stopped. It is not important who initially financed the dirt digging. Nor is their intent. Am I right? It is interesting how Fusion has been left out of the blaming game being played. This probably is due to the GOP thinking they might need the services Fusion offers in the future. Free markets are only a good thing when they work for you, not when they work for your rival. This is a recurring conundrum the GOP faces daily. It really isn't easy being a conservative. So many contradictions to over come in this new world of the info net and constant monitoring.

I've been waiting for the mind numbing brought on by the last election cycle to wear off but to no avail.  Not my mind, mind you, but yours.

I'm beginning to think your minds have been numb from birth.

So here is what you refuse to acknowledge. Hillary is and was the singularly most hated woman of all time in these "United" States. Period. That horse race was lost before it started.

Trump won simply because people think that "show" was real. Hell Trump still thinks it's real. He actually thinks he's rich. He's not. It's only on paper. Not in the bank. This is a good time to use that tired phrase "Show me the money". Donny was forced to do that show. He had  payments due and did not have the liquid assets to cover them. You may remember he had just gone through yet another failed venture. There may also have been a pesky little bankruptcy involved, he has been known to attract those things.

I'm still growing back the hair I pulled out when the Hillary camp ran  a muck with shouts of her feminist support of woman. She did sit on the board of directors at Walmart as they were not paying woman the same as men, were "urging" their suppliers to open factories in China and doing away with employee profit sharing via the buy one get one free stock option available to all associates. But she fought for daycare!!!!

Let us not forget how she courageously stood by her man the serial adulterer. Behind every successful man is a fish with a bicycle has been replaced by what? A woman in denial?  I'm more inclined to think the narcissist from money married the narcissist with charisma in order to move up the political ladder with dreams of living in a white house without the proverbial white picket fence.

The grossly over crowded field of candidatorial choices abounded with an underwhelming array of incompetence. Save one. The insider from outside. The one who was brushed off as a do nothing despite decades spent behind the scenes actually getting things done with help from both the opposing parties. But this is America and there is less chance for a Jew from Brooklyn getting into the White House than an oil company giving a shit about your property rights or health. I have to address an issue here that always follows the from Brooklyn thing, the carpetbagger was not the one who ran from New Hampshire but the once senator from NY.

Now we have what we have. And what we have is at best the end of personal liberty and financial freedom for about 80% of the country or at worst the end of America. Unless, and I have no faith in you to even attempt this as the TV is on and you might miss your show, you get your heads out of your asses and get out there and vote the corporate and false Christian religious spewing jihadists  out.

ISDS (investor-state dispute settlement) an act of treason in the name of commerce.

Investing is a form of gambling. Gambling is by definition a game of chance, no matter how well thought out the risks may be. ISDS' only purpose is to take as much risk of failure out of the game by circumventing existing laws of the land of sovereign states thereby taking power from the citizens and those entrusted with the sacred trust instilled through the fair and constitutional election of the government by the people of the land and handing it to corporations foreign and domestic.

Foreign investor protections and investor-state dispute settlements simultaneously undermine the US Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the sovereignty of the United States of America, each of the 50 states and all local government entities within.

Interestingly some of the politicians who favor these ISDS clauses fervently claim to be "patriots" and anti-big government.

By inserting foreign investor protection and investor-state dispute settlement clauses into trade agreements that directly impact state, county and local governments ability to protect and serve the interests and well being of the citizens who elected them these ISDS clauses represent the worst care scenario of big government intrusion.

This is an off shoring of the judicial  branch. It's treason. Plain and simple.

What You Might Have Missed Getting Excited About Self Driving Cars

The IoT and those wondrous self driving cars. It all sounds so good. No worries as you are shuttled across town gleefully texting away.

"Take me to John's house", "Stop at the store for beer", "I feel like pizza tonight". Text, text, play a game on the way.

Doesn't that sound great?

Forget about the massive infrastructure that does not yet exist, forget about the massive costs that the companies will shove onto you. You're used to that scam by now.

Instead, think for just a minute about how all of those vehicles are going to know where not just they, but where all the other vehicles are. They will need to "talk" to each other. How will they do that? Hmmm. That's an easy one to answer. They will all be on the same network, right?

And who will own that network? A monopoly. Think you have little to no choice now with ISP's? True they do all communicate but they are more or less non lethal stationary PC's, tablets and cell phones that do not carry the living from point A to point B.

Chrome and Explorer and Foxfire do the same thing. Sort of. (I'm leaving the lesser used guy out on purpose)  They do not always get along. Now if we all are using self driving cars and sharing the road with public transportation that you know will be interconnected (True AI controlled vehicles  would be impractical in a fleet scenario) there will have to be a central logistics control point using a single browser and a single ISP. That point would be owned and under control by the monopoly that now has an almost complete control over your every move.

That monopoly whether corporate or government will own you and know every place you go. Where, when and for how long you stayed.

The dream of every marketer. The wet dream of every dictator.

Privacy is over rated anyway. Right?

What's new in Morton County ND

Given the lack of actual coverage of Morton County, ND by the majority of media outlets, here is what's happening in the pristine tranquil hills,

Hidden among the softly rolling hills an army of local "peace officers", National guardsmen and private "security" personnel stand at the ready to protect the sanctity of corporation. Strengthened by their faith in the God of the underworld, Black Tar!

Below these "brave" heavily armed soldiers of the only true religion stand the hundreds. Chanting prayers in a tongue unknown to the helmeted  ears of greed and destruction. But fear not dear citizens! This army of the underworld will smash and spray and shoot ( oh, soon they hope!) those People of the Land of the Sacred Stones, the Standing Rock Sioux, who in ignorance of the euro invaders and the future plans to rip and rape the Mother Earth had the audacity to bury their dead among these hills.

Adding insult these indigenous peoples actually think water is worth more than oil profits. They would has us believe their children and the children of these children  infinitum, matter more than profits today! How rude and self centered! Physics alone shows the dominance of oil over water. Parts float upon and parts sink below! Therefore oil trumps water! (pun intended)

The Cost of the Homeless? Why the numbers lie.

This is more of a lesson in false economic theory, creative spin and/or stupidity. I'm not sure which one or ones are the exact culprits, but the end result is misinformation sold as truth.

The cost of dealing with the homeless, if you take reports on the problem and associated financial data as provided by local governing bodies seems shockingly high. And it is. Way too high.

These numbers are fed to the taxpayers as problematic. They are very problematic, but not for the reasons stated by local agencies.

I give you Santa Barbara California.

Santa Barbara has been cracking down on the homeless.

" Average home prices top a million dollars, tourism is the fastest growing industry, vacancy rates are near zero, and the city’s 900 homeless are a constant source of tension for merchants and residents."

Tourism. Who are these tourists? The rich. They don't like seeing people who are less rich. 
Near zero is not zero. 1, 2, 3, and 4 are also "near"zero.

The Santa Barbara solution is to criminalize homelessness. What does that mean? It takes more police hours, more jail time and more court time. The cost per day in the county jail per inmate is $160. That is $4,800 per 30 days. The cost of a two bedroom apartment in Santa Barbara is $2,000 per month.

To incarcerate 2 people for a month costs the taxpayers $9,600. 4 people run $19,200, Four homeless people could be housed in one 2 bedroom for $2,000 saving a total of $17,200 per month.

It gets better. Santa Barbara has 15 cops whose  job it is is "predominantly" dealing with the homeless problem. That is an annual salary of $58,226 per officer x's 15 = $72,782.5 per month or $873,390 per annum. But the city government has no money to do much to alleviate the plight of the homeless.

None of these figures take into the costs incurred by the jailing staff, clerks both jail and courts or the judge's time. 

This is government waste in the highest degree. 

The monies if put into affordable housing would after 3 to 5 yrs save the city millions within the next 3 to 5 years.

So is it false economic theory, creative spin and/or stupidity?

A Personal Comment about Hillary Clinton

I do not now and have not for the last 33 years, trusted Hillery R Clinton. I do not believe she is now or has ever been a Liberal or a Progressive. She was born into wealth. She has never "struggled" with the cost of housing, childcare, utility bills, insurance costs, medical cost, food.

Yes she has "fought" for women's rights, but again, that was in a cushy job that paid 3x what the average male worker was paid then. $28,000 yr. vs $6,000 yr. A new car could be bought for $2,500 - $3,000. Women were paid quite a lot less. I do not consider that a convincing argument. I also have a hard time believing a feminist would "stand by her man" through multiple affairs.

Hillary changes with the tide, but only she is allowed that luxury.

Predatory child criminals. Her words, not mine. How many of those children incarcerated under Bill Clinton's get tough on crime bill have been allowed to change and be released? Pro Panama Treaty, (???) pro TPP, anti marriage equality until, that is, the tide of public opinion turned. Ties to Wall Street (donors don't count because they were individuals and not the whole corporation, don't cha know?), tied to people tied to the Panama Papers (see Panama Treaty above) tying her to Israel and Russia, Reaching out to Jeb Bush's people now that Jeb is out, blatantly ignoring security protocol before, during and after her stint as Secretary of State.

Is that what you want in a President?

What is her foreign policy? How's this; $6,000,000 directly and indirectly from Israel to her presidential campaign. Not from US citizens sympathetic to Israel, but right from Israel. "Who's in your wallet?"

Is this what you want in a US President? This is not a candidate for sale. This is one bought and paid for.  

Hillary has a long history of flip flopping on issues. Lately she has taken to parroting Senetor Sanders.

As for this progressive claim about Hillary R Clinton, other than a progressively growing income I'm not finding too much to call progressive.

My Problem with Hillary

I do not cast my vote based on either scrotum or vagina. I voted for Obama simply because he was not Mitt Romney, not because of the color of his skin. Skin color is by the way, literally only skin deep.

My problem comes from a conveniently ignored fact of life. People generally get more conservative as they age. They do not get more liberal and progressive.

At the age of 16 Hillary was an AuH2O girl, by the age of 18 she was a registered democrat. That was around 1968. It was what all the cool kids were doing.

In my opinion Hillary follows the crowd. She was for the war when all the cool kids were for it and against it when all the cool kids stopped being for it.

Hillary can not be a progressive and be beholding to Wall Street.  

The main arguments against Bernie are he wants to give away free stuff and how can he possibly implement anything with the congress we have.

Seams we heard this same argument before. FDR, Obama ring a bell? There are two ways to implement change. One is through slow and short steps and the other can be very ugly. Ask Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq and any of the other countries the United States has 'encouraged' to change regimes.

I do not trust Hillary Clinton. I spent my teenaged years in Westchester N.Y.. I rode my bike and ran long distance for wrestling training to Chappaqua N.Y. as well as Cos Cob and Ridgefield Ct. I do not know any progressives outside of the teaching staff, now or then living in Northern Westchester County.

I went to this quaint little school on Jay St in Katonah, N.Y. I know what I'm talking about.

Corporations, Pro-Life, Suicide and Body Parts for Sale. OH MY!

Corporations are people.
Money is free speech.
The right to life.
Suicide.
Selling body/baby parts

OK, corporations are people and have the right to free speech in the form of dollar "donations" to politicians and causes of their choosing.

Many of these politicians run on a conservative right wing Christian platform that among other things is pro life regardless of any financial, life threatening or emotional consequence that may be incurred by the mother as a result of carrying to term. They are against suicide and the selling of body/baby parts.

Corporations are people.

Corporate bankruptcy is in some cases a form of abortion. It is allowed to protect the health of the corporation, which we know is a person.

It is MURDER.

People are not allowed to commit suicide. The taking of one's life is immoral and wrong.

It is MURDER.

Dissolving a corporation is the corporate equivalent of suicide.
This must not be allowed to happen. Corporations are people too and,

It is MURDER

Corporations are people.

Corporations selling off assets is selling body/baby parts.

It is MURDER.

Because:

Corporations are people.

So make up your mind. Are corporations always people or just when personhood is convenient?

How about those fine upstanding citizens hunkered down in a bird sanctuary?  Bet they teach those federal owned birds a thing or two about freedom.

I have to admit it takes a certain breed of man to travel all the way up from Arizona to Oregon with a supply of ramen  noodles and not much more.

Here's what these assholes are really trying to do. Con you into abolishing federal owned land. They just happen to, by some coincidence own farm/ ranches abutting a good portion of federal owned land.

Land they have been squatting on. Land that has made them wealthier than their neighbors. Land they could then turnaround and sell to gas and oil companies.

Then they would be rich.

We are talking about greedy conservatives. The ones who deny climate change because that is a VERY inconvenient truth.

While we're on inconvenient truths, a terrorist it anyone or group that uses fear as their main weapon. Radical Sunni Muslims don't have a monopoly on that.

Preferably With An Erection

Recently I had  engaged in an online conversation with a gentleman who feels that it is an undue burden on businesses to be forced to "pay" for birth control options for their female employees. On the other hand,  it is fine for the same employers to "pay" for viagra for the male employees. His reasoning for this is viagra enhances the quality of life for men and women should just control their urges.
I'm fascinated by his logic. Mostly because it's illogical. Unless sex has changed recently  without my knowledge,  it still requires both a female and a male (preferably with an erection), to achieve the goal.

And so on to my confusion. Let's say women, possibly through a miracle of zen Buddhism, are suddenly able to achieve this form of inner strength , peace and enlightenment and the strongest of all natural urges is conquered, what would be the outcome?

This lack of logical thought and self induced  hypocrisy appears to be running amuck these days, or is this the new black?  We find it in almost every aspect of American culture now.  From the so far to the right they are always wrong tea party members, the evangelical conservative 'I've never actually read the bible ' bible thumping war on Christianity religious freedom but only our version of our  religion. We keep hearing about a war on religion. But, it doesn't exist. Not really. This supposed war is a one sided one. Those claiming to be under attack are the ones doing the attacking. 

This is a well known tactic used in the past by Hitler, Stalin, McCarthy and many more. McCarthy, as an example, used a non-existent communist infiltration of America as a means of getting rid of Americans he didn't like or agree with. Today we have Ted Cruz,, who like McCarthy, is a junior unschooled politician looking for fame and power. Cruz, the son of an immigrant who entered the US illegally, (one. must first be in the country without the proper visa before one can apply for political asylum ) is anti-immigration. He is also against normalizing ties with Cuba. You might wonder why. His family had, you know, originally supported Castro until they figured out Castro was not going to bestow favor on them. (this is an assumption based on the families initial support of the revolution and the subsequent betrayal by Castro of many of the Cuban elites). Ted, I might add, is one of the biggest 'war on Christian conspiracy trumpeters. 

And now we have the GOP frontrunner who has claimed among other things that he was offered a scholarship to West Point Academy and Joseph built the pyramids to store grain in.

I have it on good authority that West Point doesn't offer any scholarships. I happen to know a West Point grad, recently promoted to  General, and am well acquainted with the processe involved in garnering an apointment to the Academy. (I've known him since he and my brother were in junior high school together)  

About this Joseph claim. If as Dr (?) Carson claims, the pyramids were built as he has stated, with all those Jews enslaved by Egypt,  where the rolling  purple doughnut did Mr Joseph get the laborers to  build the pyramids? Labor Force perhaps? Craig's list? Angels in the Mist?

I find myself beginning to lean towards the conviction that in certain situations aborting a pregnancy might not be as much of an abomination as some would like us to believe.

Poverty, Social Reality and Temporary Dignity

Instead of the usual post I thought it more important to pass this on. I will add that as much as I'd like to agree with the author, I feel obligated to state her mindset has the unfortunate consequents of perpetuating the problem.

The reason so many in this country have been unable to keep their heads above water financially is the fatal combination of the Walton exploitation of workers, the population's willingness to buy overpriced crap they don't need and the willingness to fall for anti-union propaganda. As it has been pointed out before only 6% of the workforce today are unionized. That must be one incredibly influential 6%. Or could that 6% just be a huge threat to the 1% with no jobs and all the money?

Labor and Labor Day or If You Are Anti-Union Get Your Lazy Ass To Work

Hate unions? Think they are for the lazy? Well, you need to put down the beer and BBQ and get your ass to work. 12 hours a day 7 days a week. Bring the kids, it'll be fun and a great way for you to bond with them as you toil side by side. Didn't get a raise this year? You can thank yourself and the anti-union politicians you helped elect into office. Rah! Rah! Walker!!!

Here's some unions you might not know about that no one has yet tried to weaken: The Hollywood Producers union, NFL, MLB, ( all pro sports are unionized) the Policemen's, Yes friends those big sport heroes of yours making millions a year are in unions.

Did you know Ronnie Reagan was not only in SAG-AFTRA but had been the head of SAG? He still was when he started to weaken unions, he just left most of his alone. (He was still getting residual checks from all those B-movies he starred in) That's right, SAG-AFTRA collects and distributes those big fat residual checks to the  big stars as well as the bit players.

Tribalism and Politics

As a preface, a bit about  my upbringing. I am not from either here nor there. I was conceived outside of Los Angeles Ca., born outside of Buffalo N.Y. and learned how to walk and talk outside of Texas City Tx. I was literally raised in the backseat of a 1969 Ford station wagon. My home is America as seen from rt. 66.

By my tenth birthday I had lived in 11 towns in almost as many states. I was known, depending on where we were, as the kid from Texas or the kid from N.Y.  I have never called either place home.

This upbringing resulted in my being "not from here", a constant outsider, not a member of the tribe.

I learned early to observe the  habits and rituals of these natives and emulate them as best I could. I've lived in cities, towns and unincorporated country communities. They're all the same when it comes to tribalism. 

The follwing is the result of a conversation I overheard in a burger joint  two days ago in Arlington Tx.

"I can't be her friend 'cause she's not from here.'

Religions are a major contributor and source of tribalism as is politics.

Political tribalism. Why are you a member of your party? Is it you truly believe in what that party stands for or could you just be following the tribe?  Chances are you are following the tribe. Team spirit is a replacement term. Tribes go to war with opposing groups. We have "Team Blue ", "Team Red", thanks to the marketing "teams" re-branding efforts they are not seen as tribes, but they are.

There are sub-tribes within each major tribe. Ultra conservative, conservative, moderate and liberal. In the Christian, Judaism and Islamic  faiths we have the same tribalism. This religious tribalism crosses over into today's politics. It always has but it has become more pronounced and dangerous today than in the past.

Most of you don't know why and how the born again Christians came to embrace their pro-life stance. It was all about money. The born again movement was never realy about saving souls, it was and always has been about money and power. Today they call themselves Evangelicals. The Evangelical movement is by design non-denominational. They don't really have to share the wealth unlike the Catholic church.

This is where tribalism comes in. Tribes need to create more members. This is accomplished two ways. Conversions and procreation. Converting can be as easy as simply telling the prospective converts  what they want to hear. 'God wants you to be rich' is one of the most convincing ploys. The major problem here  is the procreation part. Women have been putting off pregnancy and have been gaining slightly more power. That is not good for the tribe. The solution?  Convert or payoff politicians. Buying judges also helps.

With politicians and the judiciary in tow passing restrictive laws becomes easy. Women lose the power they have gained and now can make more members.

One of the greatest downsides of this is tribes have a tendency towards short-sightedness. They are also blind to the agendas of outside groups willing to help them with their goals.

Enter the oligarchy! The War mongers and oil barons.

The Christian right evangelicals have a middle eastern problem. The Islamic right. Both tribes are fighting for domination. In the past the evangelicals have tried to convert in the middle east but that hasn't worked out very well for them. They tend to lose their heads. Oligarchs unfortunately for the evangelicals, worship money, power and greed. They do have a middle eastern problem too. They don't own it. So they funnel money to the evangelical right and politicians. Wars are fabricated on the false premise that Islamic radicals are threatening our way of life and Christianity.

And tribe fights tribe completely unaware that they are both being played. The agenda we rarely hear about is the oligarchs agenda. They simply want to own everything,  you included. They too are in their own little tribe.

Who voted these republican contenders into office?

Running with the assumption you have been following the GOP presidential candidate hopefuls, I have to ask who voted these people into office in the first place?

To the person they have at best a poor knowledge of American history and at worst, none what so ever. Contrary to their claims America was not founded on Christianity. Their interpretation of the bill of rights consists solely of a warped and self-serving view that ignores the rights of the majority of citizens. Two of them are the sons of immigrants. One of these is the son of an immigrant  who had been granted political asylum. Funny thing about that,  you can't apply until you are either past your stay as stated on your visa or you have to have entered illegally. The other? Well let's point out his family bio is a smidgen fabricated and leave it at that. These are two of the most vocal anti-immigrant hopefuls,

This looks to be one interesting race to the bottom.

The Truth Behind The War On Christianity

For the past few decades  we have been  hearing a constant stream of  this  supposed  war on Christianity. Waged  by Hollywood  and the  Liberal  Media,  homosexuals, moral deviants,  socialists and fascists. Who are these poor innocent Christians who have found themselves under  attack? Who wages war against them and to what end must these Christians  go to defend Christianity?

The answer goes back to just after WII. The beginning of the new Evangelical movement. Some Evangelicals formed  churches, some discovered radio. And they made money. What, at the time was a lot of  money. The money would become the main  motivation to expand their  reach.

By the early 1970's out of this movement sprang  the Born again Christians headed  by James Dobson, Pat Robertson, Francis A. Schaefer, D. James Kennedy, Jerry Falwell and others.* 

As their influence  grew so grew their thirst for power. They  courted politicians and began grooming their  followers to run for office. The goal?  Create  a Christian theocracy. But to achieve this they had to convince their  followers that not just America but Christianity was under attack. Enter the Moral Majority.

Under this new name they concentrated on public policy. After Reagan was elected they formed the CNP (Council for National Policy). A forerunner of ALEC. Headed by the likes of Falwell. Robertson, Rushdoony and Amway founder R. DeVvos Sr. and Jos. Coors of Coors Beer.*

 Throughout the years evangelical  members  were introduced  to senators  and governors.  Ronald Reagan was very receptive. He would later appoint one to Surgeon General (Koop) and nominated   for Supreme Court, Antonin Scalia. G.W. Bush (born again/saved in 1984) would appoint Clarence Thomas. They sit there to this  day. 

Both houses  of  Congress are littered with  them. They call  themselves  tea party activists and libertarians. And they have declared  war on all who do not hold to their religious beliefs. Since they are at war with the "Them", the "Them" must be at  war  with the "True Believers ", as they call themselves.

These "Believers " lie, cheat, steal and kill under the guise that as long as it is done to the non-believers it is moral to do so. They are special. God, according to their religious beliefs, has given  them free  admission to Heaven. Their goal is to usher in the second  coming  and the rapture. It's  not climate change as those atheist scientists claim. It's God's word and will. Jesus is God to them and God is Jesus. God/Jesus only loves  them.

*American Fascist: The Christian Right and the War on America was the main text used as reference. I witnessed this movement's growth from the age of 12 on. Now, as back then, I have yet to understand how anyone with the ability to think could fall for the lies of these hucksters.
